Pink Kisses & Birthday Wishes

"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow"

So sorry for being so late on this, things have been
beyond hectic at school and work; But the 21st was my 19!
I tried to dress up even though it was under 20 degrees here and
snowing!! I'm wearing a Forever 21 shirt Mike got me for
Christmas, Poppy Pink lipstick from Walmart, brown & pink
polka dotted socks from a thrift store, with combat boots
from Macy's (I believe).
Crazy winter, it was a crazy day as well. I was out late the
day before and had school in the morning ! Mike knew I wasn't
doing much to celebrate so he took me to breakfast, chicken
and waffles. Never heard of it have you? Try it, it's just pure bliss.
My first class was dance, a fast past jazz adventure to say
the  least, and great cardio. Honestly all other classes were just
distractions to the nap I was anticipating. (Don't take this
experience with you to college, actually pay attention!)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple days later I got to see my friend since pre-school! It's
amazing actually that seeing her was a real gift. Her current arrangement
for awhile has made it nearly impossible for me to see or her beautiful son.
So normally when I see her we don't do much, but I take her presence in.
It may not have been the birthday I wanted but I got to see her and another
friend I haven't seen in a while and ate a wonderful breakfast, so for that
I am thankful.

Wanelo

I know this is a bit random (as most of my posts are)
But what are your thoughts on Wanelo ? I really have mixed it
feelings about it. Don't get me wrong it seems more convenient,
and like a good idea to have all your favorite stores in one place,
just I've noticed a couple problems. For example, I bought a
cute lace top and ordered it, it came as a different sheer shirt ?
I honestly don't blame Wanelo though for that, I think it was most
likely the low budget cheap place it actually came from. So maybe
Wanelo is just a blessing and I'm just weary of online shopping!

I have trust issues with the places my card goes. I just hear so
many bad things. I know that one time a "buy" button didn't tell
me I had in fact pressed it. So as a result my card was charged like
three times for one pair of leggings (which btw someone stole). That
was just another instance from Wanelo... But again it's the fault of
where the items actually come from. Maybe I'm just rambling on
so you all are careful with your online shopping! After all, Wanelo
is just for advertisement right? This all could have happened
because it was before an updated version. I don't know, any
opinions or stories ?

Little Matters

                                                                Bag- Journeys
                                                                         &
The cup is recyclable and $1

Sorry here's a picture with my iPad, no matter it was for my Instagram.
I've been thinking about school a lot guys (well girls), about this second semester in college.
Man is life different from high school days. You're whole life is different, not in a bad way,
but you're on your own schedule and no ones guiding you every step. So while I'm not moved out and working full-time to pay for school, it's still a time where I am adjusting and creating my own lifestyle. Finding out what meager things keep me happy.
It's still a bit messy but it is not a fast process that just happens overnight. I do still pay the bills I acquire through the months, though it's easy to forget things. Forget to do the things that make you happy. It's so funny because those are the things that help you shape out the way you want to live and you'll still forget! It's so easy to get wrapped up in so many other things life throws your way. The little things like this blog, or Lookbook, magazines, bookstores and even just thinking of D.I.Y projects (etc.) will turn around my days.

I'll always try to incorporate these things into my life. Creating, learning, skating, it's a part of me. Making a lifestyle after high school seems like more of a general term to me. Especially since you make your own lifestyle and "boho" or "chic" is not really
specific enough. What plans are you making toward the life you want? What do you do
to keep yourself happy?

                                                                                                                  xoxo

P.S Sorry for the rambling but school starts back up tomorrow and I guess I had some things to get off my chest. Any opinions, replies ?

Flashback to The Holidays

                                                    Random Shoe- Mikes foot
                                                   Combat boots- Macy's
                                                   Sweater leggings- Walmart
                                                   Oversized Jacket- moms closet
                                                                   Snow

Sorry for the even worse quality picture but It escaped my mind completely
that I never shared my  Christmas presents with you! Now, my family isn't very big on
celebrating together but we all still drop. off presents and this is what I got!
A recipe book for macaroons, shoes from Forever 21 and Alice in Wonderland
from Mike; A Nikon Coolpix L620and Foam subscription from my mom; Gift cards from my aunts and uncles;  an Ipad case and nail polish from my brothers! I know it's not a lot but I appreciate everything I got, and got more than I needed. That is not at all what the holiday is about.
Sadly I gave my presents out before even thinking to take a picture of them all! Except the picture I drew, it's Ariel from The Little Mermaid for a tattoo my best friend wants, She was surprised that I agreed and almost succeeded. My friends and family's faces were literally priceless! This was the first Christmas that I could afford to give them nice things myself. Although I got a bit carried away on the Black Friday sales but It was totally worth all the money!
More importantly, the best gift was my moms gift; the one my two brothers and I got her, Snow. We split buying my mom a puppy from a breeder that she'd LOVE. For a couple years she's been wanting one and feels like she's been a bit lonely. We all help take are of Snow but she loves my mom so much and makes her a great deal happier!
Tell me about the best gifts you gave and received, I'm really interested to hear !

Mike & I trying to be casual

                                                     ( Mike, Calvin, Taylor & I )

                                                     Taylor & I being silly

Sorry for such a personal post, but I just had so much fun on our double date!
Don't be discouraged ladies and gents (mostly ladies) I made sure to dress up for you! I'm
wearing a bow collared tank from Forever 21, a mustard yellow cardigan from Target,
my leggings are from a local thrift store and my brown Peter Pan boots are from closet
de moma. (Haha her closet is still pretty fun to play dress up in!)
The couple we went with are co-workers from work, they're actually really nice
people. Mike was overwhelmed with excitement since we don't have many mutual
friends. Taylor has similar qualities and interests as me, so I'm hoping to convert her to
more online duties than Instagram. I know she must be full of ideas! She'd be splendid
at these things. Maybe she'll even partner up with me, so fingers crossed guys!

Lets Play

Collar Necklace- Forever 21
Sweater- Forever 21
Leather Overall Skirt- Forever 21
Thigh-Highs- Target
Boots- Forever 21

I have no idea why I love Mickey and Minnie mouse so much lately, but its just so juvenile that it makes me miss my younger years but just so classic that makes me feel sophisticated for some reason.
Its hard to really grasp the idea of growing up, I mean you're 18 and supposed to go to graduate, college and know what you want to do for the rest of your life. I mean I have an idea what I want to do, but it seems like so much pressure. I don't want to be pressured, don't you just want to sit at home and do kid stuff sometimes? (Nap, color, draw...etc) I WANT TO PLAY OUTSIDE.
When we're younger, our biggest struggle was figuring out who was feeding you. And us, as typical children, wanted nothing more but to be grown up. "When I'm older.. all my troubles will be gone." Well we didn't expect time to go so fast.
Just my thoughts today, anything to add loves?
(I love this topic, so I most likely will talk about it again)
