Hey, so I know I don't talk about my job very much, but I'd like to start sharing some work outfits with all of you! I work for the Abercrombie & Fitch (who btw have a lot of dress code rules) .  The company, to me, refers to the preppy look that meets New York City Chick and that honestly isn't something I am very used to. Regardless, I found a way to transform it into my own. That's what I love of fashion, taking your own risks within (or without sometimes) the popular trend. Let me tell you all, just being in a retail environment is so worth it. It feels so amazing to see everything go on; the clothes, stylists, managers, office people roaming around.. everyone.

So last year when I was trying to pick a major, I immediately went to fashion merchandising. And like anyone else, I began to worry about how I would stand out in such a popular and risky trade. It is SO hard to be in high school one day and the next day be expected to know exactly what you are good at / want to do for the rest of your life. Crazy stuff for being so young & inexperienced, am I right?

This summer, I FINALLY understand that some things are meant to be hobbies and some things are not. Fashion Merchandising is my minor now and I want to keep this experience and inspiration at Abercrombie as a constant reminder that everyone has to start somewhere. Try every possible way you can, ask for advice and use Google to your advantage because there are many ins & outs that we as teenagers haven't even thought to experiment with yet. So think about it; tell me about your career choice anxieties and college/ High School troubles ?!
