     Sorry for such a personal post, but I just had so much fun on our double date!

Don't be discouraged ladies and gents (mostly ladies) I made sure to dress up for you! I'm 

wearing a bow collared tank from Forever 21, a mustard yellow cardigan from Target,

my leggings are from a local thrift store and my brown Peter Pan boots are from closet 

de moma. (Haha her closet is still pretty fun to play dress up in!) 

     The couple we went with are co-workers from work, they're actually really nice 

people. Mike was overwhelmed with excitement since we don't have many mutual

friends. Taylor has similar qualities and interests as me, so I'm hoping to convert her to 

more online duties than Instagram. I know she must be full of ideas! She'd be splendid 

at these things. Maybe she'll even partner up with me, so fingers crossed guys!

                      I have no idea why I love Mickey and Minnie mouse so much lately, but its just so juvenile that it makes me miss my younger years but just so classic that makes me feel sophisticated for some reason.

                      Its hard to really grasp the idea of growing up, I mean you're 18 and supposed to go to graduate, college and know what you want to do for the rest of your life. I mean I have an idea what I want to do, but it seems like so much pressure. I don't want to be pressured, don't you just want to sit at home and do kid stuff sometimes? (Nap, color, draw...etc) I WANT TO PLAY OUTSIDE.

                       When we're younger, our biggest struggle was figuring out who was feeding you. And us, as typical children, wanted nothing more but to be grown up. "When I'm older.. all my troubles will be gone." Well we didn't expect time to go so fast.

                    Just my thoughts today, anything to add loves?

At Peace

                Am I the only one who goes to Barnes and Noble or a library to sit there and read all day? I go, get a Vanilla Bean frap and sit on the floor against a bookcase to just be consumed with the atmosphere. Maybe I'm just weird but it just gives me security and keeps me at peace. I have a mini library at my house but it's not quite the same feeling. It's muse to life just as a hike in the woods can be in the summers or spring. That's just my opinion, sometimes the smallest things can create happiness, remember that.

        More than just fashion history books find their way to my hands, I also LOVE adventurous story lines. The Hunger Games has been my most recent series obsession but Alice in Wonderland is definitely on the agenda. Adolescent years, I read Harry Potter, A series of Unfortunate Events, Junie B. Jones and more.. (Haha I was quite the busy bee) Are there any other good reads anyone could recommend or want to discuss?

It got WEIRD

        I am beyond giddy to figure out that it's actually cool to not match and be weird/corky. You guys don't understand (or maybe you do) that middle school and early high-school I was 

even more outrageous with my style and people really made fun of me for it. Now it's a popular trend to actually have your own mind made up for what goes on your body (crazy isn't it?) . Not that       I'm complaining, it's sort of refreshing in a way. 

      

      Although more recently to me, it has seemed to confuse the teenagers. Some have gone back to wanting to dress the same but call it non-uniformity, people seem interested in hobbies that have always been attainable. Maybe it's the idea of being 'at peace with one self' if these hobbies (like painting, reading, incense lighting,drawing..etc) are done ? But how can you be at peace if you're not actually being your true self or the best you can be as an individual ? 

       

      I don't know, I'm weird these are the things I think about, I'll probably write something along these lines again soon. I'm not completely on one side or the other, so opinions, comments ?
